Lamb meatball pita wraps with Greek salad and tzatiki

I love anything wrapped in carbs. Honestly I would eat an entire loaf of bread in one sitting if I could and didn’t leave me feeling crappy and 10 pounds heavier.

So I’m a big fan of having the opportunity to have something wrapped in a pita or flatbread. So insert Greek inspired dinner. I often make this with chicken… but then found lamb meatballs at the grocery store… so…why not?!


Makes 3-4 pitas


12 Lamb meatballs (premade – homemade or store bought

4 flatbreads or pitas

Greek Salad:

-4 ripe tomatoes, diced

-1/4 cup minced red onions

-1 English cucumber, diced

– 4-5 Kalamata olives, minced (or garlic stuffed olives)

– 1/2 cup cubed feta cheese

-2 tbsp EVOO

-2 tbsp of balsamic or red wine vinegar

-salt and pepper

Tzatiki Sauce:

-1/2 cup plain yogurt

-juice 1/2 lemon

-2 tbsp chopped dill

-dash of garlic powder to taste

-salt & pepper


Chop and mix all of the ingredients for Greek salad in a large bowl and set aside.

Combine all ingredients for tzatiki sauce and set aside.

Cook meatballs to medium (or your favourite doneness). Let cool slightly and cut into quarters.

Combine all ingredients on pita or flatbread, wrap & enjoy!
